From Ft Meade: Go south on route 32 or 175 to route three go towards Bowie. Turn left, at the light past Mc Donald's onto route 424. At the next light turn right into the parking lot. Go past the first building on the right and turn in front of them. The FINS is at the end of the building.

The Maryland Wine Festival®: Carroll County Farm Museum

MD Wine Festival
Ticket prices: $25
(designated driver and advance tickets: $20).
Those aged 7-20 are admitted for $5 and children 6 and under are admitted free if accompanied by a paying adult. Advance sales begin in August. No pets or alcohol may be brought in to festival.

Ticket entitles guest to a logo-engraved wine glass, samples of Maryland wines, attendance at the Wine Education Seminars, continuous on-stage entertainment, guided tours of the Museum's 19th Century Farmhouse, and self-guided tours of period artisan exhibits and demonstrations.

The festival offers music all day long, as well as wine tasting seminars on the hour, food vendors, craft vendors, wine sampling, and more!

On Sunday, September 19, Blue Caliente takes the stage from 12:00 noon until 12:45 PM and Blue Moon Big Band follows with two sets from 1:00 until 2:45 PM. The festival is open from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM on Saturday, September 18 and from noon until 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 19.

Join us at the 2010 Maryland Wine Festival® for three sets of jazz, Latin, and big band entertainment. Our jazz and Latin-infused quartet, Blue Caliente, goes on stage at noon and then the full 19-piece swing orchestra follows for two sets. take Route 795 (Northwest Expressway) to Route 140 West to Westminster. Go approximately 13 miles and turn left onto Center Street. The Farm Museum will be 1 mile on right (before the Hospital).

From Randallstown,
Eldersburg, or Sykesville, go northwest on Liberty Road (Route 26) to the intersection with Route 97. Take 97 North to Route 32. Turn left onto Route 32, go past Westminster High School approximately one mile, and turn left onto Center Street. The Farm Museum will be ½ mile on your left.

From Ellicott City or Columbia,
take the Baltimore Beltway 695 to Route 70 North, to Route 32 North (Sykesville/Westminster). Stay on Route 32 and go past Westminster High School, approximately one mile, and turn left onto Center Street. The Farm Museum will be ½ mile on your left.

From Washington area,
take the Capitol Beltway (495) to Georgia Avenue (Route 97) North. Follow Georgia Avenue approximately 35 miles. At the intersection of Route 97 and Route 32, turn left on Rt. 32. Go past Westminster High School, approximately one mile, and turn left onto Center Street. The Farm Museum will be ½ mile on your left.

From Annapolis area,
take I-97 North to 695 West to 795 (Northwest Expressway) to Route 140 West to Westminster. Go approximately 13 miles and turn left onto Center Street. The Farm Museum will be 1 mile on right.

From York, PA,
take I-83 to exit 27 (Route 137 - Mt. Carmel Road). Turn right onto Route 137. Turn right at the stop sign and go to next stop sign and continue through to Route 30 in Hampstead. At traffic light, turn right, go to second traffic light and turn left onto Route 482. At intersection of Route 482 and Route 27, turn left onto Route 27 and proceed until you go under the overpass. Turn left onto Route 140 and stay in ramp lane. At traffic light turn right on Center Street. The Farm Museum approximately one mile on right.

From Montgomery County, MD area,
take I-270 North to Route 27 (Damascus). Take Route 27 through Damascus and Mt. Airy and across Route 26 (Liberty Road). Go approximately 6 ½ miles past intersection of Route 26 and Route 27 and turn right onto Kate Wagner Road. At first road on left (Gist Road), turn left. At second stop sign turn left onto Center Street. The Farm Museum will be on your left.

From Frederick area,
take Route 70 East to Route 27. Turn left onto Route 27 at the end of the ramp. Go through Mt. Airy and across Route 26 (Liberty Road). Go approximately 6 ½ miles past intersection of Route 26 and Route 27, and turn right onto Kate Wagner Road. At first road on left (Gist Road), turn left. At second stop sign turn left onto Center Street. The Farm Museum will be on your left.

From Hanover, PA,
take Route 94 South to Route 30 South to Manchester. Turn right at traffic light onto Route 27. Follow Route 27 to overpass in Westminster. Go under the overpass and turn left onto Route 140. Stay in ramp lane and turn right at light at Center Street. Follow Center Street one mile to the Farm Museum on your right.

From Waynesboro and Hagerstown,
take I-81 South to I-70 to Hagerstown. Take I-70 through Frederick to Route 27 north exit. Go through Mt. Airy. Go approximately 6 ½ miles past the intersection of Route 27 and Route 26 (Liberty Road), and turn right onto Kate Wagner Road. Go to first road on left (Gist Road), and turn left. Go to second stop sign and turn left onto Center Street. The Farm Museum will be on your left.

From Harrisburg and Gettysburg,
take Route 15 South to Route 97 South to Route 140 East to Center Street. Turn right onto Center Street. The Farm Museum will be approximately one mile on your right.
